Live Content

Live content is content that is livestreamed to a creator’s channel and not prerecorded. Live content is typically longer (think 1 hour or more) and is a great way to show off many features or mechanics of your game all in one piece of content. It also can receive high engagement, as viewers can chat with each other while they watch.

Live content is recommended for completed games that have high replayability potential. It’s not recommended to have a creator stream a story-driven game for multiple hours, as their viewers would then experience the game solely through the content rather than playing for themselves. Instead, live content is especially strong for sports or shooter games, as it will entice viewers to try the game for themselves. Additionally, live content can be strong for multiplayer games and allows for multiple creators to go live playing one game together.
